What preparations should be made for the operation of the compressor unit?
In industrial production and many key areas, the stable operation of the compressor unit is crucial. In order to ensure that the compressor unit can play its role efficiently and safely, comprehensive and detailed preparation and inspection work is an indispensable link before the formal operation. This is not only related to the normal operation of the equipment, but also to the smooth progress of the entire production process and the safety of personnel and the environment.
1. The driver and gear transmission should be tested separately and in series, and the acceptance is qualified to reach a good standby state. Install the coupling between the driver, gear transmission and compressor, and re-measure the alignment between the rotors to make it fully meet the requirements.
2. The cleaning and adjustment of the unit oil system has been qualified, the oil quality test meets the requirements, and the oil storage volume is moderate. Check the main oil tank, oil filter, and oil cooler. If the oil level in the oil tank is insufficient, add oil. Check that the oil temperature is below 24°C, then use a heater to make the oil temperature reach above 24°C. The oil cooler and oil filter should also be filled with oil, and the air should be released. The switching position of the oil cooler and the filter should be switched to the side that needs to be put into use. Check the main oil pump and auxiliary oil pump to confirm that they are working properly and turning correctly. The oil thermometer and pressure gauge should be complete, with qualified range and working properly. Fill the accumulator with dry nitrogen to keep the gas pressure in the accumulator within the specified value. Adjust the oil pressure at various locations in the oil system to meet the design requirements. Check that various interlocking devices in the oil system are operating normally to ensure the safety of the unit.
3. The inlet filters of the compressor should be clean and undamaged, the inlet filter elements have been replaced, and the filters are qualified.
4. The compressor cylinder and pipeline drain valves have been opened, closed after exhausting the condensate, and closed after inflation.
5. The intercoolers of each section of the compressor are diverted to establish a cooling water cycle, exhaust the air and put into operation.
6. The process pipeline system should be intact, the blind plates have been completely removed and reset, and the weight is not allowed to affect the cylinder body due to expansion, contraction and vibration of the pipeline.
7. Adjust the valves on the process gas pipeline to a certain position according to the starting requirements. The inlet and outlet valves of the general compressor should be closed, the reflux valve or vent valve for anti-surge should be fully opened, and the outlet valve of the process system should also be fully closed. The opening and closing of various valves should be flexible and accurate without jamming.
8. Confirm that the safety valves and explosion-proof plates on the compressor pipeline and auxiliary equipment are fully equipped, the safety valves are adjusted and set to meet the requirements, and the specifications of the explosion-proof plates meet the requirements
9. The instruments on the compressor and its auxiliary machinery are fully installed, and the range, temperature, pressure and accuracy level meet the requirements. Important instruments should have calibration certificates. Check whether the electrical circuits and instrument air systems are intact. The instrument valves should be flexible and accurate, and the automatic control security system has passed the inspection to ensure accurate operation.
10. All interlocks of the unit have been tested and adjusted, and all set values have met the requirements. The anti-surge protection control system has been adjusted and tested, and each vent valve and anti-surge reflux valve should be opened and closed quickly without jamming.
11. According to the analysis, confirm that the gas composition in the process system before and after the compressor inlet and outlet valves meets the design requirements or is replaced with ammonia.
12. Check whether the unit rotor can rotate smoothly, and there should be no friction and jamming.
In short, the preparation and inspection work before the operation of the compressor unit is the basis for ensuring its safe and efficient operation. The attention to every detail and the implementation of every inspection provide a strong guarantee for the stable operation of the compressor unit. Only if we take these preparations seriously can we effectively prevent possible problems and allow the compressor unit to continue to contribute reliable power to our production and life. I hope everyone will always keep these points in mind and work tirelessly for the good operation of the compressor unit.
